The world is small is an interactive and clownish show combining techniques from the circus and divers environmental and social issues. Through out travel anecdotes, this eccentric explorer tries to shed light on the different issues of the planet and of humans. Presented in a clownish and dynamic fashion, Atlas dresses a portrait of the situation of the planet, of its environment and of its social issues. Inspired by a social clown approach, Atlas arouses reflection and the standpoint decision in order to stimulate the will of eco-responsible engagement. He searches for tools so that every individual may become better eco-citizens socially implicated and maybe an inspiring leader in active change.

Local schools are invited to attend the Atlas Geocircus show to increase knowledge on the principle of eco-citizenship.
​
In addition, young students will be able to visit the control tower as well as the CQFA premises. Activities and games led by the Patro de Jonquière team are scheduled.
​
They will also have a demonstration of kites and meet with our professional kites is planned. In closing, students will be entitled to a performance by the Rock School.

In the pavilion, where the wind is in the spotlight, will be presented workshops by technoscience. Young people of all ages will be able to conduct scientific experiments on air, wind, wind energy and weather by visiting 4 stations.

Four scientific discovery stations will be available to our young festival-goers so that they can become familiar with the concepts of nature, air and wind:

ANIMATION - 10 am to 9 pm
Children, young and old, will be able to entertain themselves in the inflatable games that will be on the site.
The animators of the Patro de Jonquière will come to challenge young and old!

MORDiCUS SHOW - 7:30 pm
The Mordicus group leader, Maxime Desrosiers is a pioneer in the School of rock.
What better than to come share his experience with his public. A rock show that will definitely please the young public of the region.

Mordicus is a Saguenay francophone rock band formed in 2010. Making music that places halfway between the psychedelic years and British indie rock. The whole thing is propelled by catchy melodies, decaying guitar sounds, lively rhythms and crazy lyrics.

DAVID LAPOINTE - 6 pm to 7 pm and 9 pm to 10 pm
A multi-instrumentalist for several years, inspired by his father who played in orchestras, David has played music since childhood and has composed since his teens. He plays in several groups and has performed several shows throughout Quebec since the late 1990s. His first album of original songs was released in 2012 and is entitled ''Au coeur du monde''. Today, he regularly hosts corporate events, weddings and parties. And it’s the Festival’s turn to showcase its talent on Friday evening at 18:00.
